Alemannenriem Niederstotzingen, bruin leer, verzilverd messing Bijlen This is what real medievalThis one belt is based on an early medieval buckle from the rich Alemannic noble grave 9 of Niederstotzingen, part of a Merovingian buckle set from the late 6th century. The original was part of a silver gilt bronze implement and is one of the best known finds from this burial field in southern Germany. The belt in brown leather features a buckle with a regular pin instead of the pin plate of the historic original, made in silver plated brass. Thanks
