Baumard Savennieres Clos Du Papillon 2018 Size::1 Bottle 2015's Syrah contains approximately 50%100% Chenin Blanc grown on slate soils that include soapstone. Hand picked off 36 year old vines (the vineyard is in the shape of a butterfly, hence the name) and sorted so that only the best fruit gets a guernsey. The fruit is then whole bunch pressed and fermented in stainless steel where it remains on fine lees for 9 months.
