Patrice Rion sits in Premeaux Prissey, one of the five communes whose vines can be bottled as Cte de Nuits Villages and his Vieilles Vignes cuve draws on the older parcels, giving a wine with more weight and concentration than the appellation usually delivers. Patrice founded the domaine in 1990 with Michle; son Maxime came aboard in 2005 and now runs the cellar. 2023 brought ripe, generous Cte de Nuits reds
