Hubert Lamy, Saint Aubin 1er Cru Clos Du Meix, 2023 so041821 ruinart offer/class/ig This lightly sweetA distinctive Premier Cru Chardonnay from a small 0. 7 hectare walled vineyard overlooking Saint Aubin, planted on hard chalk with large surface stones. The terroir's chalkier character yields a wine of elegant chiseling and precision. The 2023 shows reductive aromas of pear, apple, and wheat toast opening to a medium to full bodied palate that is satiny and racy. A textbook example of fine boned Burgundy structure with long term aging potential.
