Vintage 1920s Châteauneuf-du-Pape Grape Hotte Style:Hod One A hand carved birch woodThis century old Chteauneuf du Pape grape hod bears a classic painted shield of the celebrated wine region. Traditionally used during harvest, the woven form and painted emblem reflect the working heritage of southern France. Today it serves beautifully as a vessel for storing firewood or kindling. Sculptural and storied, it brings depth, history, and a strong sense of place to a room, rooted in the culture of Chteauneuf du Pape.
