Descendientes de J. Palacios Mencía de Pueblo Corullón 2021 morocco with a small proportion wildIn the Bierzo appellation, perched in the Northwest corner of Spain, ancient Menca vineyards emerge from the steepest of hillsides. Deep cherry and blackcurrant aromas are complicated by iron, smoked meat, and violet. Powerful red and dark berry flavors are braced by zesty minerality and gain sweetness with air. The red fruit takes the upper hand on the strikingly energetic finish, which leaves floral and Indian spice notes behind.
