Eric Rodez, Champagne Blanc de Noirs Extra Brut (Base 2016), NV cote-to-cote-club The 2023 vintage was farmedEight generations of winemaking in Ambonnay, and Eric Rodez learned his craft at Krug before returning home in 1984 to transform the family estate. That Krug DNA shows in his multi vintage blending: this Blanc de Noirs weaves thirty eight percent from the warm 2016 base with components from 2015 and 2017 and seventeen percent reserve wines, achieving a complexity that single vintage bottlings rarely match. All Pinot Noir from Ambonnay Grand Cruthe
