Giacomo Borgogno & Figli, founded in 1761, is one of the oldest houses in the region and was pouring at the 1861 dinner celebrating Italy's unification. In the 1920s Cesare Borgogno began the practice of holding Barolo Riserva for around twenty years before release, and the estate still keeps a deep library of these traditionally made wines. This 1964 Riserva is Nebbiolo from a celebrated vintage, raised the
