22% Cabernet Franc and 18% Cabernet Sauvignon
ample and complex aromas
floral notes and sensational minerality do the talking - it has weight
Subtle and driven at the end of the palate
but I'm really enjoying what they have done this year
2020 Biondi Santi Rosso di Montalcino, Tuscany, Italy Clos des Lambrays 22% Cabernet Franc and 18%The nose is floral and sweet, but refreshing thanks to clean, balancing aromas of mint and dirt. The palate takes that freshness a step further, to a light, bouncy, almost astringent level. Precocious tannins are young yet dense and supportive, while jubilant acid sings. 96 Pts Wine Enthusiast
