5% alcohol and a mellow mouthfeel after spending 12 months in 225-liter oak barrels
The Michel Mailliard house flagship cuvée from a single plot (vineyard)
this is luscious and massively dense
It's a bit riper than previous years
marked by a graceful balance between fleshy stone fruits and streaks of thirst-slaking minerality—a fantastic culmination of the terroir's elements
Jax Vineyards Block 3 Cabernet Sauvignon, Calistoga, USA 2021 Gevrey-Chambertin Bel Air 5% alcohol and a mellowDark chocolate and dried blueberry aromas lead to uber ripe fruits, cocoa and a touch of oak char on the palate of this big, rich wine. Massive tannins are softened by the sweet seeming flavors and contribute to a full, broad texture. Best from 20252032. 94 Pts Wine Enthusiast
