Description

A red with smoke

white apple

With a bouquet reminiscent of a fresh right-bank Bordeaux

driven by mineral marl or chalky-character with a touch of grapefruit pilth

The palate offers a well-balanced combination of freshness and body

2021 | Daou Soul of a Lion Red | Paso Robles 1.5L Muller-Thurgau A red with smokeExtremely dark in the glass, it starts with heavily spiced aromas of vanilla, mocha and walnut cream that balance the rich black cherry and roasted berry fruits. The palates tannins are immensely grippy yet expertly polished, framing flavors of loam, black olive and graphite. 97 Pts Wine Enthusiast
